Removal |
1. |
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
|
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level switch connector.
|
3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
|
4. |
Disconnect the brake tube (A) from the master cylinder by loosening
the tube flare nut.
|
5. |
Remove the master cylinder from the brake booster after loosening the
mounting nuts (A).
|
6. |
Separate the reservoir by loosening the screw.
|
1. |
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
|
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).
|
3. |
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster.
|
4. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
|
5. |
Remove the brake fluid hose from the reservoir. [M/T only]
|
6. |
Disconnect brake tube.
|
7. |
Remove the master cylinder from the brake booster after loosening the
mounting nuts (A).
|
8. |
Separate the reservoir by loosening the screw.
|
Installation |
1. |
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
|
2. |
After installing, bleed the brake system.

(Refer to Brake System - "ESP System Bleeding)

Operating door locks from outside the vehicle
Mechanical key
Turn the key toward the rear of the vehicle to unlock and toward the front of the vehicle to lock.
If you lock/unlock the driver's door with a key, a driver’s door will lock/unlock automatically.
