Hyundai i-30: Fender / Repair procedures

When removing the fender, wrap protective tape around a screwdriver
or remover not to damage components
|

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries
|
|
•
|
When removing the clips, use a clip remover.
|
|
1. |
Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Assembly")
|
2. |
Remove the head lamps.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Head Lamps")
|
3. |
Remove the front wheel guard.
(Refer to Body Side Molding - "Front Wheel Guard")
|
4. |
Remove the front bumper side mounthing bracket (A) after loosening the
bolts.
|
5. |
After loosening the mounting bolts remove the fender assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

Other information:
Door, Bonnet, Tailgate open
This warning is displayed indicating
which door, or bonnet, or tailgate is
open.
CAUTION
Before driving the vehicle, you
should confirm that the door/
bonnet/tailgate is fully closed.
Also, check there is no door/
bonnet/tailgate open warning
light or message displayed on
the instrument cluster...
The driver must be cautious in the
following situations. The ISLW may
not assist the driver and may not
properly operate.
Do not disassemble camera temporarily
for tinted window or attaching
any types of coatings and
accesories. If you disassemble a
camera and assemble it again,
take your vehicle to an authorized
HYUNDAI dealer and have the
system checked to need a calibration...
