Removal and Installation |

1. |
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
|
2. |
Remove the engine cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "Engine Cover")
|
3. |
Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "Air Cleaner")
|
4. |
Drain the engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|
5. |
Remove the battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
|
6. |
Disconnect the integrated thermal management module (ITM) connector
(A).
|
7. |
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).
|
8. |
Disconnect the heater pipe hose (A), heater hose (B).
|
9. |
Remove the integrated thermal management module (ITM) (A).
|
10. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
11. |
Fill with engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|
12. |
Start engine and check for leaks.
|

Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Intake And Exhaust System - "Intake Manifold")
|
2. |
Remove the Integrated Thermal Management Module (ITM).
|
3. |
Disconnect the heater hose (B).
|
4. |
Disconnect the heater pipe hose (A) and then remove the heater pipe
(B).
|
5. |
all in the reverse order of removal.
|
6. |
Fill with engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")

7. |
Start engine and check for leaks.

If your vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you can slide or tilt your sunroof with the sunroof control lever located on the overhead console.
The ignition switch must be in the ON position before you can open or close the sunroof.
The sunroof can be operated for approximately 30 seconds after the ignition key is removed or turned to the ACC or LOCK(or OFF) position. However, if the front door is opened, the sunroof cannot be operated even within 30 seconds.
